The government has announced a return to work date of the 26th of April (2021) for massage. However, this will be right in the middle of my physio exam period and as a result, I will not open on this day. My plan is to return to work on the 3rd of May.
Similar to after the last lockdown, I will be rearranging cancelled appointments before taking on any new bookings. This means I will be messaging, in order of appointment date, all who were unable to attend their last appointment due to the Boxing Day lockdown. I will start messages in the next few weeks as I want to be certain the date will not change before putting anyone in the books. The cancel, book, cancel, book is a horrible cycle to be in for all of us.
When I have finished booking in these individuals, I will take new bookings. You can wait until I post about this or message me to join the waiting list. I think this is a reasonably fair method to opening back up, but really, few things over the last year has been reasonably fair or smooth- we just have to see how or if it works. As I open, I will offer cancellations to the waiting list or if no one takes the slot, facebook page. Hopefully we are turning a corner and can say goodbye to lockdowns forever!
